Dan  Long knows business. His story, “From the Out House to the White House,” tells how he built A1 Plumbing into one of the largest and most successful service organizations in the nation, resulting in being named Idaho’s “SBA Small Business Person of the Year”. This award culminated in an invitation to the White House, where he visited with the president in the East Room.

Dan's success has been fueled by his ability to combine enjoying life, applying a creative approach to dealing with people and processes, and what in the plumbing industry he called "Thinking Outside the Toilet"--getting beyond the paradigm of how you are supposed to act.

After 25 years of success, Dan sold his plumbing company, launching into a professional coaching and speaking career. It's Dan's enthusiasm and skill for developing effective business partnerships that brings him and his clients great success.

When Dan engages with an organization, his formula is simple: Collaborative Thinking + Disciplined Behavior = Measurable Results
